Post Nº 6 The last but not the least!

The use of the technology in education is very important in this moment, because the globalization give us special tools to improve our investigations, homeworks. The use of internet, web sites, and web searchers in the class is basic element because the students use there in the home and in the school to find information about different topics.

The internet has become a support for the teacher and in this moment the technology is very complete and the use the BlogSpot it’s an efficient and effective tool to teach and take control in times, learning evolution and responsibility of the students. I like to use the BlogSpot, because the use it’s easy and interesting, is more interactive that check and communicating on email. As well, in the Blog, I can upload photos, colours and different designs to make a special and personalized homeworks.

The use the blogspot allows making the activities with more time in the home or in the university. The life of the university is very fast and the time is very short for the activities. In the end of semester the students are very tired and stressed, but the blogspot activities are advisable to check the writing of the English students. The teacher revises tasks, from his home or office, is comfortable because we have more time. With the use of blogspot the students know their peers, their tastes for art, the articles they read, and so on.


The advantages of the Blogspot are very much, for example, now the teacher can check the homeworks comfortably in notebook ont the weekend listening to his favourite music, without checking book by book, as well the Blog spot is easy to read, it contains links to the other students blogs and the most important, if the teachers click copy and stick in google, the y can discover if the student homework is original or a copy from other page.

Well, finally I think that there are good and bad technologies, some bad technologies could be the nuclear weapons to support the war, but as well there are good technologies like the internet with the Blogspots, a new tool for the education knowledge.

Assignment 5, Let's go to the cinema!

THE HOUSE OF WAX (2005)

Well, the movie that i saw the last in the cinema it's called 'The House of Wax" (2005), directed by Jaume Collet Serra, this is an horror film that is a remake of the same named movie from 1953, the are Paris Hilton, Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray and Brian Van Holt. The plot is about six friends are on their way to a football game, but in the road the car turn off their lights, they stayed there to sleep and wait the mornig. But in the night they discovered that the were camping in an old and forgotten country side where there were a big house of Wax. they thought that this place were deserted, but something there were something wrong, all the residents was made of wax: the people of the church, the public audience, all the neighborhood.

Something strange was happen in this deserted place. untill they discovered that two twin and disturbed brothers were there only living residents and that they was the killers of all people that drove around the ville, then, they gave a bath on the still living body and finally become part of the House of Wax.

They killed people because they were they were obsessed with the idea of keep the legacy of their mother and build a City of Wax, and even... they keeped their mother's body in the church, like an eternal funeral!.

i think that the good point of the movie is that it's very entertaining, exciting and it causes fear.

But the bad point is that were absent more argument more plot to become a complete story.

Finally, from 1 to 7 stars I rate this movie with 6 stars.

Assignment 4, my classmate's blogspot

I looked the blog spot of Tamara Jorquera, a Phychology student from Universidad de Chile. I like the blog design because the colour white and blue allows highlight the photographs and texts.

I like it because she likes the Guernica, The Guernica is special for me because it causes different feelings like sadness, melancholy and tenderness. In the painting there is a horse, it's impressive, it have a very strong expression of force, madness and passion, I agree with the words written by Tamara.

And what about the blog design? Well, my opinion is that the general design is beautiful and sober, it`s easy to read, nice and well organized.

About the posts my opinion is that they are completes, and have a good quality , because they show links, clear information and beautiful pictures. Truly, there is nothing bad about the blog.

Also, i liked the picture from Agnieszka's blog, because i don't know how capture with my computer skills a complete web page and convert it to a small picture.

Finally, i think that this blog shows that Tamara is well organized and a very good english student.

My work of art…

My favorite work of art is The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, the first time that I saw this painting was in a Catholic church, I liked it for its high quality, for the symbols, but the most important reason was that I was Christian and that painting communicated me peace and the love and peace of Jesus before he died. Generally I love the work of Leonardo, because he is “The Universal genius”, because he was a master in different matters: architecture, painting, science, etc. And as well too, he was a developed inventor, he invented the helicopter for example, before the time that the helicopter was invented!

THE LAST SUPPER: Leonardo drew and painted "The Last Supper" of Christ as the patron of the church and the Bible. But, The figure on the left of Christ in this picture, a woman. Why Leonardo drawings together to Christ this picture?

The table also painted Leonardo “La Gioconda”, also known as the''Mona Lisa'' the paiting is interesting because it has many mysteries that have investigated scientists. The mysteries are based on the content of the painting, in the model, her expression, her eyes and his expression of happiness.

Summary: “Higher Education: Intimate Learning in a Remote Austrian Village”

This is an article about a small school in a remote Austrian village in the Tyrolean Alps, in this school there are only eight students, because the birth rate had reduced in the time.

The have to fight against the hard climate, long roads to the school and the limited resourses to learn and be connected to the wide world.

Eva Klingenschmid, the teacher, uses an original methodology in the classroom, the Kleinschule (small shcool), she takes advantage of the places and the isolation to make a teaching system “in the field”, with learning groups, signals, and the latest help of internet. For example, they discuss about different matters like the global warming.

Now, they are learning the English language, because many people from the Spisswork in the tourism industry showing the spectacular ski areas of Ischgl-Paznaun.

LAST BLOG ASSIGNMENT - Sumary Writing

Summary of the “Learning the joy of reading” Article.

Nowadays, the Uganda children haven’t received benefits from the “Country’s Reading for All Programme” promoted by UNESCO, the International Reading Association and other partners. The Progran consists in the teach reading and talking poor children of the primary school and the teachers. Inviting the parents of the children in their education.

Teaming up with the Uganda Library Association, the programme also organizes reading camps during which children are brought together. There are kids like John that now have access to the information, the idea is turning Uganda into a reading nation.

The dificult of implement the programme are the frustrating efforts to achieve reading for all, because there are few teachers in this country. They say that Uganda needs to train more teachers to improve the education.Another dificult is the need of library and materias to the learning reading of the poor children.

A similar programme has started in Tanzania.
